Beautiful places to visit
If the charm of the “Pen-Mur” mill in Muzillac is to be discovered, many beautiful places are to be visited within a radius of 5 to 30 km.
How beautiful town is Vannes (4 flowers) with its flowery ramparts, its port arriving in the city center and its alleys of the Middle Ages. The small port of Auray and its old alleys protected by Saint-Goustan, saint patron of fishermen. The Guerno, a small village of character adjoining “Branféré” the superb animal park dear to Nicolas Hulot. La Gacilly, seat “of Yves Rocher” where you can visit the botanical garden which is so beautiful. La Roche-Bernard, the fief of painters and sculptors found on the corners of the steep streets. Rochefort-en-Terre, a charming village by excellence and voted in 2016 as the most beautiful village in France. Malestroit where the Oust, a river forming beautiful waterfalls, flows into the canal from Nantes to Brest. “Tropical Park” in St.Jacut-les-Pins and its impressive collection of orchids.
Don’t forget the superb Museum of Resistance in Saint-Marcel and nearby Lizio, a village of 750 inhabitants that has three museums, one of which is fascinating, the Museum of the “Poet Ferrailleur”, really to be seen. A few kilometers away, Josselin Castle is enriched with many period furniture and nestled in a small picturesque medieval village.
